Nassima Baba-Ahmed Fertikh, MD, is a UW Health neurologist and a clinical associate professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Neurology. Dr. Baba-Ahmed Fertikh specializes in neuromuscular medicine. She sees patients with diseases of the peripheral nervous system (PNS). The PNS is the part of the nervous system located outside of the brain and spine and helps send messages between the body and brain. She treats a variety of PNS conditions and has a special focus on amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease.
