Dr. John W. Cassidy founded Nexus Health Systems in 1992 to fill a void in the treatment of patients with brain injuries. As the Chief Medical Officer and CEO, he oversees patient care across the health system at Nexus Children's Hospital, Nexus Specialty Hospital and Nexus Neurorecovery Center. As the pioneer of neurobehavioral rehabilitation, Nexus Health Systems affords acquired and traumatic brain injury patients and their families a compassionate and encouraging environment to work towards recovery. Always putting our patients first, Nexus’ approach to care includes interdisciplinary medical teams working together to understand and remediate challenges.
