Sheela Vivekanandan, MD, is a neurosurgeon specializing in spine care. She received her medical degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Medicine and completed her neurological surgery residency at Geisinger Medical Center, followed by a neurosurgery fellowship at the University of Utah. Dr. Vivekanandan’s clinical interests include spine care, sacroiliac joint fusion, lumbar fusion, meningioma, and subdural hematomas. She is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and Women in Neurosurgery. Her hobbies include golf, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, hiking, board games, and exploring new destinations with her husband.
