Islam M. Zaydan, MD

Islam Zaydan, MD, is a neurologist and is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is co-director of the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Excellence at the Pittsburgh VA Hospital. He is also an associate professor of Neurology and Ophthalmology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Alexandria University and completed his residency and fellowship at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Zaydan’s clinical interests include providing longitudinal care and treatment for patients with neurological and neuro-ophthalmic conditions, and his research interests include multiple sclerosis and meuromyelitis optica.
