Dr. Khayyat is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon who began his practice of Neurological Surgery in the Akron area in 1976 when he brought with him operative procedures not available then in the Akron Hospitals, including microscopic surgery for a variety of conditions like pituitary tumors, aneurysms, trigeminal neuralgia, and other brain tumors. Along with that and the many common neurosurgical operations on the brain for stroke and traumatic injuries as well as spinal conditions requiring surgery like disc and degenerative problems, he has performed about 10,000 operations.
