I first fell in love with medicine while shadowing my father, who is a medical oncologist. However, I knew I wanted to train in a surgical specialty, and when I first discovered the complexity of the nervous system, I was attracted to neurosurgery. \n Cerebrovascular neurosurgery is a highly technical specialty, demanding the utmost rigor, compassion and surgical skills.
