My mother is a nurse practitioner. From the time I was young, I wanted to be a doctor. \n When I was a teenager, my grandfather had a massive stroke, and one of my closest friends was diagnosed with brain cancer in the same year. As a result of those dual experiences, I felt called to neurology. I wanted to help make this world better for those with neurological diseases. \n As I furthered my training, I realized my heart was called to headache disorders and to obstetric neurology, so I continued my training through fellowship opportunities. I am proud to serve the Charlotte area as a subspecialist in these two areas.
