Kathryn F Kirchoff-Torres, MD, is Attending Neurologist at Montefiore and Assistant Professor, Neurology at our Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Kirchoff-Torres’ clinical interests are in emergency care and acute management of cerebrovascular disorders, including ischemic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage and vascular malformations, as well as the treatment of post-stroke patients to prevent recurrent stroke. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in neuroscience from the University of Rochester in 1999, Dr Kirchoff-Torres attended SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine, receiving her Doctor of Medicine in 2004.
