John Park, MD, PhD, is the chief of neurological surgery at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens, affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Queens. He is a faculty member of neurological surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine and part of the neurosurgery team at the Weill Cornell Brain and Spine Center. For more than 25 years, Dr. Park has been practicing as a board-certified neurosurgeon. He specializes in treating brain and spinal tumors and degenerative disorders of the cervical and lumbar spine. From 2002 to 2013, Dr. Park served as the chief of surgical and molecular neuro-oncology for the National Institutes of Health and as the primary brain tumor surgeon for the National Cancer Institute.
