James DeMatteis, MD, is a neurologist and is certified in neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is chief of Neurology and the medical director of the Stroke Center at UPMC Hamot. He received his medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
