Dr Al-Mufti is one of the few triple-trained, board-certified neurologists, neurointensivist, and neuroendovascular surgeons in the country. He joined Westchester Medical Center in 2018 from Rutgers University - Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where he served as the director of neuroendovascular surgery (neurology). He completed fellowship training in neuroendovascular surgery at Rutgers University and Neurocritical Care from Columbia and Weil Cornell Universities following his neurology residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr Al-Mufti has a special interest and expertise in the performance of cutting-edge neuroendovascular techniques for the minimally invasive management of cerebrovascular conditions.
