Dr. Conte is fellowship-trained in complex and reconstructive spine surgery. During his fellowship, he was trained in open treatment of complex spine deformities, scoliosis, and spinal oncologic pathologies. He is extensively trained in minimally invasive surgical treatment of degenerative, oncologic, and traumatic spine conditions. Additionally, he is passionate about neurocritical care and minimally invasive treatment of cranial pathologies, including brain tumors, stroke, and traumatic brain injuries. He has a number of publications on topics such as intracranial hemorrhage in COVID-19 patients, percutaneous minimally invasive direct pars repair and clinical and radiographic outcomes for anterior cervical discectomy and fusion.
