Eileena Newton, MD

About

A native of Hawaii, Dr Newton obtained her medical degree from the University of Queensland and completed her internship and neurology residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. Dr Newton subsequently completed a vascular neurology fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital prior to joining the staff at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore. She treats cerebrovascular disorders of the brain including TIA, ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. Dr Newton has been the recipient of grants investigating perfusion imaging in acute stroke as well as palliation in severe stroke. She resides in Baltimore and enjoys outdoor activities and sports with her family.
