Ryan Jafrani, MD

Dr. Ryan Jafrani is a dual fellowship-trained pediatric neurosurgeon at Orlando Health Children's Neuroscience Institute. He has advanced expertise in minimally invasive epilepsy surgery, deep brain stimulation surgery, selective dorsal rhizotomy for treatment of cerebral palsy, pediatric spinal conditions, tumors and vascular disorders. Dr. Jafrani earned his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine and completed a neurosurgery residency at Penn State Health. He received advanced fellowship training in pediatric neurosurgery at Washington University, as well as stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at Penn State Health. He is one of only a few neurosurgeons with fellowship training in both fields, providing unique expertise.
