Sam DeStefano, MD, MSE, is an expert neurologist who specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of adults with epilepsy. He is committed to providing whole-person care to every patient. If needed, he evaluates patients for potential surgical options when medications are not working – these options may include removal of a seizure onset area or implantation of devices such as the vagus nerve stimulator (VNS), responsive neurostimulator (RNS) and deep brain stimulator (DBS). Dr DeStefano is a born teacher and lifelong learner. He was drawn to the medical field because of his innate curiosity and desire to pass on his knowledge to help others learn and grow.
