Mark Krel, D.O., is a proud native of Southern California. He completed hisundergraduate, graduate, medical education, neurosurgical residency and fellowship training in California. After his neurosurgery residency, Dr. Krel received subspecialty training and served as a clinical instructor in stereotactic, functional, epilepsy, and pain neurosurgery at Stanford University. He specializes in movement disorders (Parkinson’s Disease, Tremor, Dystonia, etc.), epilepsy (including invasive monitoring, neuro-stimulation, and open and minimally invasive surgery), pain, and psychosurgery to treat depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, Tourette’s syndrome, post-traumatic stress disorder, etc.
