Islam Abujubara, MD — his patients call him “Dr. AJ” — is the chief of neurology at IMS. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Neurology. In 2019, he was listed as a top doctor in Phoenix Magazine. Dr. Abujubara completed medical school at Jordan University of Sciences and Technology, and did an elective rotation at the Baylor College of Medicine. He completed residency in internal medicine and neurology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he received extensive training in neurophysiology. Dr. Abujubara enjoys spending time with his wife Heba and child and enjoys sports, movies, and traveling.
